Customs Formalities

The special position of the islands within the EU means that goods are in free circulation but zero-rated for VAT, thus needing special attention to T2 documentation.

With no VAT applying in Guernsey or Jersey (also Alderney, Herm & Sark) goods that have a T2 status have to be accompanied by a T2F transit document should they leave the islands, a fact not always understood by European shippers, transporters and even in some instances, Customs offices.

With a great many of these already successfully issued and discharged we feel that we are more than qualified to offer seasoned advice and support.
